anybody have plans (mainly measurements) for the pvc/ golf-ball game sometimes called mexican horseshoes? This is the one that is 3 bars high and you use golf balls tied to a string instead of metal horseshoes. thanx

We used to call it bolas, after the Argentinian cabellero's rope with a ball on each end used for hobbling a running calf from horseback.

Measurements vary, but here goes:

Our "Redneck Golf" frames are 48" wide, with cross bars at 16, 32, and 48" from the ground. Wall Mart carries bags of colored golf balls,6 of each color, that can be drilled in a press and connected with soft clothesline type rope, 16" of line between the balls. Our scoring [Michigan Rules] is 1 for the bottom rung, 2 middle, and 3 top. Covers on the same rung cancel. Game is 21 but if you bust,[go over 21] you immediatly go back to 15. Great game, anyone can play, and sets up anywhere. Oh yeah, we play 30' between goals.
