I literally just need the step & the two sets of arms that attach to the frame. I have the frame & motor works fine. We didn't know the step was out & ran into a log which ripped the step off. We need the step. Thanks

Those things are perverse. I have put a strip of white anti-skid tape on the edge of our step. It is easily observed in the mirror from the driver's seat. It is on our drive-away checklist. Some day I will put an alarm switch on it that will ground a buzzer connected to the ignition. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

We were out on a dinner party night with a "borrowed" [brought home from work] GeorgieBoy, when we got caught in a traffic jam on the drawbridge out to Venice. One of the guys got out to see how things were coming and we advanced at walking speed with him alongside. Yep. The steps were out because the door was open, and when we reached the part of the bridge where the curb neared the road, oh, that didn't sound good!

Sounds like the time I wiped off a screen door hinge on a post protecting the pumps at a service station 'cuz the Barth didn't have rear axle steering. Had to disconnect the toad in order to back up far enough to try another route. Embarrassing.

I had to replace the (midships) step on my SOB because a semi shed a tire in front of me and I couldn't avoid the carcass. It was retracted, and got bent so badly I had to cut it out. Bent my original manual steps on a post [series of posts] surrounding a park ...moving the coach while the steps were down [dumb!]. The original steps were junk anyway, so I was looking foward to a new set of electric / retractable. Mounted the switch near the door. Used a RED illuminated switch which I can see by looking over my right shoulder. One of my safety checks B-4 moving the coach, is to be certain that RED Lighted Switch is OUT! ~Mac~ 1990 31 Foot Regency Spartan Chassis Cummins 6CTA8.3 Alison MT643, 4-speed 8905-0123-31RDS-A2

Well, we've really helped Jim & Tere with the new step! Sadly, the step on mine is riveted on, so I doubt that a step-only can be found. Kwikee sells just the frame which I can buy through a local RV repair shop for $159 plus shipping. The retail is $211. What you do is take the motor and controller off the old step and fasten it to the new one. Still seems like a lot of money. Want to try find a used one.
