Well, if that's how you're all going to be about it ( Big Grin), I better check into this a little more and see if there are better avenues as far as price and/or quality.

Is the logo screen printed or can you tell, if it is screen printed it is pretty simple to do. I have screen printed many t-shirts.

Maybe a standard notebook with slip-ins on the spine and the front would be more economical. I have a specialized printer (Alps MD-5000) that uses essentially dye-sub ribbons which are waterproof and colorfast, and could print the pages.

Hey Eric D.
Are you the one that had the Barth at Dream Machines at Half Moon bay this spring?

Left you a note and was parked right behind you for awhile.

I don't think your desk looks as bad as my shop right now!

If you have the bandwidth to get together some time, send me an email and we could set up a meeting. My Barth is in my back yard.

Carl does this sort of ad specialty work and will investigate price etc. He believes he can get them for less than the one quoted in this discussion.

The original binder we have is a 3 inch 3-ring not-so-heavy-duty vinyl binder in silver with blue printing. Carl suggests a heavier duty one with slanted d-ring. He said he'll check out both styles so he can provide the information.

For our personal use he plans to get two smaller imprinted binders because ours is so unwieldy now with all the additional information that has been put in.

He or I will get back in a couple of days. Let us know if there is still interest.

Betsy, I would still like to have a couple of good heavy duty binders. With slant binders 2 1/2 inch would probably work fine but I'm not picky.

I think Carl wants to get two 2 1/2 inch binders (imprinted) with a slip cover (also imprinted). He'll explain more fully, but he sez that it's easier to meet the minimum (50) if two binders are bought at once. Don't know yet about the slip cover cost or if there is a minimum. I guess if the imprint doesn't matter, the only thing that would affect the price would be volume.

He'll be writing soon. We are just in the process of getting our liquid propane gas line replaced (to the generator). It's that old "one thing at a time" theory. lol.
