Thought it might be a good idea to remove the lamps and put cabinets on top of the bedside tables for more storage.

Any thoughts...suggestions...cabinets?

We have discovered Folex cleaning solution (for rugs supposedly) and have successfully removed almost all stains including water and oil and grease. Very inexpensive at Lowe's, sometimes Walmart, sometimes Home Depot. Took many applications to get the waterstains out, but also because I neglected to follow the directions.

Folex is what our prof carpetman recommended. he says it works better than some of his "commercial" products. He cleans our rentals and does a great job. And tenants put carpets through a lot.

It is truly remarkable stuff. Even took red wine stains out of my daughter's white carpet (white carpet? cats? dogs? yoiks!)

Folex seems to work on everything. Took out the huge water spots on the ceiling, the grease where some "helpers"'s shoes when they had their heads in the engine and feet on the wall before we knew it. Haven't even tried it on a rug yet, but I am very happy with the results.
