One of the couty workers and I were talking RVs, and he mentioned he has a stainless steel towbar setup for around 2002 Toyota Corollas; also fits some smaller Chevrolets. I haven't seen it; if anyone is interested, let me know and I'll check it out. He claims cost new was $1700, wants $100 (one hundred).

$1700? seems a little high to me.....sure it wasn't gold plated? ROTFLMAO i paid about $1000 for mine, tow bar, brackets, and installation and that was almost 6 years ago when steel prices were going up daily. When i asked them how much it would be they could not give me a price until the order was placed, that is how much the market was changing at that time.

I haven't seen the tow bar, and I don't know the man well at all. I'll check it out when I get back from GA.

Well $100 is a good price if it is a decent one. About 5 years ago i bought a used Roadmaster 5000 from a friend of mine in Phoenix as a spare for $150. Carried it around for awhile then put it in storage. He moved back to Wa. 4 years ago, and 2 years ago bought a lot here in Yuma for winter use. I was talking to his neighbor down here the other day and he was looking for a towbar, so i sold it to him for.....$150. Big Grin
